(I don’t usually publish questions outside the marked time, but I think this is important)
In the context of that problem, it refers to the idiots in the metal community who act like they are superior to other metal fans because of the particular bands. Example:
“You like Slipknot? You fucking disgusting poser, you should die in a fire and be sacrificed to satan for being such an idiot and not knowing about real metal like (other band).”
Most of the elitists I’ve met are fans of thrash and black, but I’m not going to generalize since it happpens everywhere.
